True Country Boy

 I had a girl night one night with some friends and Cody sends me this picture.......I about lost it.  That is the biggest rattlesnake I have ever seen!  Is this kid scared....NO! We have a 40 year old grown man on the ranch that works with Cody.  He would have messed in his pants if he had seen this thing, ha!

 Cody sends me a rattlesnake pic everyday.  They are everywhere down here.

 Jones has been wanting to muttin bust since he was 2.  I didn't think he was ready at 2 and we just never have been able to sign him up.  It's pretty competitive and you have to know people to get in.... Jed's company he works for down here in South Texas sponsored a rodeo down in Carizzo Springs.  We were in this year!!  Jones was SO excited.!

 He fell asleep on the way down and Doodee was his headrest, ha!

 He rode, and lasted about 4 seconds.  It bucked him off, ha.  He loved every minute of it and ready to go again!

End of School Shenanigans

 J's Pre-K, 2015-1016 School Pic!

 Somehow he manages to come home every day with a sticker book..We have stickers coming out of our ears....

 We have worn him out with last minute end of school errands!

This Kid

 

I've been teaching at J's school in the afternoon, so when he gets sick I need a sub. I didn't want to get a sub today. He had a high fever and no other symptoms. He stayed across the hall, playing with toys, his puzzles and watching a movie on his IPad for 3 hours while I did my classes. He is such a prince and one special kiddo. He didn't interrupt my class once. What other 5 old can or even would do that? There ain't one!

Jbear, I hope you always know how special and one of a kind you are!

Relay for Life 2016

I've never participated in Relay for Life before. I've never lived anywhere where it was such a big deal. My workout ladies have a team every year. I signed up to help and had such a fun time. We had a cinco de mayo theme and sold virgin margaritas. They were so good! One of the ladies had a margarita machine.

We had t ball games that night so we missed the opening ceremonies.

When we had a moment of silence around the track, where we lit bags for the ones who lost their battle with cancer, I look back and see our boys manning our booth for us. I know I have a good man but all my friends I have met down here have good men by them as well. It's nice to see.
