Jones and I ventured to east Texas last week for some R&R. We slept in, fed the cows, watched football games, got a pedicure, and did a little shopping!
We had slow relaxing mornings!
And tried to stay warm!
We have been talking about going to a pumpkin patch and couldn't find a good one close. The first pumpkin patch we took Jones to blew..... It was a roadside pick, literally in a ditch, choose from 5 pumpkins, take your picture on a hay bale. So glad Jones was only 1 and didn't care.
I found the perfect one close to Austin and it worked out great that Josh and Bri could meet us. It was awesome! It was Bri's birthday and we were so happy she chose to spend her special day with us!
We stopped in Marble Falls for lunch and Nawna got to meet us! We ate at the bluebonnet cafe and it was soooooo yummy!
Had a 10 acre selection on pumpkins and they had the best strawberry lemonade!
It was a fun day! When we got home we were so tired. Jones slept like a baby that night and has talked about the pumpkin patch all week. Sweet berry farms you did not disappoint!
Bri, I hope you had a fun filled birthday!!!
Is it really October? This year has been one big ole blur that seems like it has dragged on forever but how on earth is it October?
Nannie and Daddo came to visit! Jones got to love on Nannie and he was very protective of her. He wouldn't let her out of his sight. He loves his Nannie!
We had some down time and it was nice!
Jason and Whitney invited us to tag along with them to Fredericksburg. I love that town! We had a fun day trip and Jones loves all the time he gets with Jason and Whitney!
Jones always turns into a cuddle bug the day before we send him off to spend time with the Grands. He is always excited to go but gets in enough cuddles and kisses to last his time away. I was going to help Whitney cook for the hunters so we decided it would be best to send J to ETX while I learned the ropes.
It was the cutest little place with the best homegrown steaks EVER in all the lands of feed stores, ha! I had a handsome date, a good meal and much needed time alone with my man. I had a rough week last week and I needed to regroup and breathe and let go.
