Girls Weekend

I can't remember the last time I had a girls weekend........

The Rocketboys went on tour and Bri invited the cousin girls to come stay with her a couple of days in Austin. We had such a fun time! We ate good, laughed a lot, hiked a lot, got pedicures, laughed some more, got some trouser's cuddles, slept in, and laughed some more.

We found the pretty part of Austin!
Traveled down the untraveled path some..........
Bri doesn't own a pair of flip flops......... I should disown her now. When we went to get pedicures they had to resort to some fancy shoes. It was hilarious busting up in a salon, in sweatpants and fancy shoes!

We had sushi one night which I was so excited about. Bri, the vegetarian, ordered a vegetarian roll. Halfway done with her dinner I notice masago in her roll. Masago is fish eggs......... The server was mortified. They had accidentally put that in a vegetarian roll. Bri handled it like a champ, but I'm sure she left scarred.
We ended the night dancing and spitting out fish eggs all night:)
It was a much needed weekend away with the girls!

Preschool Happenings

Preschool can wear a monkey out!

He loves to learn! He comes home after school and wants to play on ABC mouse all day long.

Learning to write his name! Meet Jones Camel!

His school put on a Christmas program and he was Santa! He was a cute Santa.

Our little entertainer froze the first 2 minutes and was almost in tears. After the first song Santa finally came out! He was adorable!

Papa Jones and Grammy came down to see his program.

I can't believe how much he has learned and so thankful for his school!

Merry Christmas and hello 2015

We had our last hunt of the year a few days before Christmas. We got a couple weeks of down time! Whitney gave Jones this moose ball thrower and he hasn't put it down in a week.
Santa was good to this little boy this year!
We duck hunted, opened lots of presents and ate good!
Ready to go find the ducks!

Jones got to try out his new pellet gun he got for his birthday.

We saw lots of ducks!
Brrrr it was chilly!
Jones was a little mad he didn't have waders.
When I told him to pucker that sad lip out further I got a good laugh out of him!

Good day!

Santa brought a trampoline!

Jones got this life size deer target and he LOVES it!

He hunts it, and takes pictures with it over and over. Then he cleans it and mounts it, over and over again.

Cody let me sleep till 12 yesterday. It was glorious! And cold and icy and my bed was just what I needed.
Jones and Cody spent the day checking traps and playing pretend hunting in the house.
We had a great dinner to ring in the new year and Jones blessed the food with a sweet little prayer.

Bring it 2015.

I am more than ready for ya!
