Farewell 2014

I need this year gone..over with. I put out all our Christmas decorations the other day when it was 30 degrees. Perfect Christmas spirit weather! 40ish more days and I can officially start new.
It will be good.
For my heart
My mind
And my soul
This year has been rough.
Maybe the hardest yet.

So we are celebrating Christmas early at the Campbell's and sliding into 2015 full throttle.

With cute new lamps.

A cute new table and the sweetest little guy ever!

Bring it 2015!

Quick Getaway

Jones and I ventured to east Texas last week for some R&R. We slept in, fed the cows, watched football games, got a pedicure, and did a little shopping!

Jones had his nightly blue bell.

We had slow relaxing mornings!

Goofed around and got some really good 4 year old pics.
Hung with Jackson, Sadie and Annabelle at the football game!

And tried to stay warm!

Halloween 2014

Jones had his first school pictures taken this month.  He is getting so big!  He loves his school and is learning so so much!

Jones wanted to send his friends off with some treats for Halloween.  I have been wanting to try homemade marshmallows.  WOW!  Super easy and I am guessing that is what a real marshmallow should taste like.  So so good, and I can't buy store ones anymore!  I whipped them up at the hunting lodge one evening when me and Whitney were cooking and Jones approved!

We dipped them in chocolate and dunked them in fun Halloween sprinkles!

Cody and I dressed up last year with Jones and this year Jones insisted we do it again.....last minute.
Last minute kitty cat....MEOW!

Last minute Cowboy.....YEEHAW!

Jones was a fire-MAN!

Made a pit stop at the fire station.....of course!  He had to make sure he wasn't needed at work!

Found a local trunk or treat and it was the best one we have ever attended.  They had games at each car for the kids and a bounce house!

Last stop was Whitney and Jason's!  We tried to get a good pic with Buddy the fire-station dog but Jones didn't want to get close and Buddy only wanted a treat!

As good as it gets!

We had a fun first Halloween in Brady with candy overload!
