I just got my blog book in the mail from 2013 and I have been reading it like I have never read it before....ha! I look forward to those things every year! I wrote more last year than I have in years past.
When we headed out of town for Texas, for Christmas, we dropped off the ranch truck to get worked on. On our way home, I dropped Cody off to get it, and he stayed in town for a bit to get some errands done. When we leave town, Cody always locks our jacked up gate. He gave me the key to the gate and the house before I dropped him off....but when we got home, I could NOT get that stupid gate unlocked. I had planned to get all of our stuff unloaded, a couple loads of laundry done, relax on the couch and take a bath all before Cody got home........
Well we crawled under the fence and Jones got to finally ride his tractor outside for the first time, since it was such a nice day. Cody got home.....and unlocked the gate, first try......
We had a lot to do when we got back from Texas, but we ended up helping Cody a couple of days.
Ok, maybe we just played a little while we watched daddy work?
We had to get ready for more hunts. Our January is BOOKED!
We went hunting with Cody one day to get our freezer stocked. Jones was in love!
We have been so busy with hunters lately that I promised I would take Jones to the movies one night. After I promised him the movie I looked at what was showing and the only kid friendly thing showing was Frozen. We had already seen it, but it wasn't hard to talk him into seeing it again. I think it was better the second time!
Our year has already started out busy and the same as every other year we have been here...but I'm so looking forward to what 2014 has in store for us!!!!
