2 month Vacay Anyone?

We have had almost 2 months off. It's been a good R&R time. It's been fun playing with cousins, second cousins and 3rd cousins! Jones was out at nannies one day playing with all the kids and when I drove up on the dam, this is what I see. All kids and no adult. I realized I blinked and my baby was a little person. They had fun exploring on their own and I was reassured they got a stern, "don't get close to the lake" lecture!

Uncle Andy introduced Jones to a hunting app...... He is obsessed now.
We've been feeding or checking cows everyday! We have had so much rain the grass is so green here!

One of the few dogs Jones will let get close to him........and we jones has been introduced to old Yeller! I think he has watched it at least 15 times since we've been in ETX.
Dado was recognized at church the other day and they had a luncheon for him. Glad we were in for it.

We've had to entertain ourselves indoor more days than not for ALL the rain.

We got to spend several days in San Antonio for the boys state basketball games. It's usually in Austin but they changed it this year, fun, fun, fun.

We walked everywhere and jones spent most of that time snacking on my head.

Riverwalk........always a fun time!

Jones lasted 5 minutes of 1 game.......

This is the first year all the cousins brought their kids so he had lots of playtime!

I hope these kiddos know how luckily blessed they are!

We went to some museum that had every animal imaginable...stuffed.
More walking..... My fitbit calculated 28 miles of walking, but all the yummy food we ate negated the walking!

More cousin time!

Found a sideways room. The kids loved it and they I was very entertained!

Old school Saloon!

Texas Longhorn baby! n/
More goofin' around.......

Our condo we found was awesome! We had a pool view and the pool was on the roof of the 6th floor.

Rode the boat down the Riverwalk.

Face planted on sidewalk while trying to keep up with the big kids.....

All the first cousins had a fun night out!

After we left SA we made a pit stop thru Pearsall to check out the deer. Jones was in love and in his element.

He has been missing the deer breeding part of Cody's job!

We are excited to get settled and have a place we call home again!

What's worst than moving....

Moving twice in 6 months.........yup, that's definitely worst.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Brady did not work out long term. Some things are just better left unsaid.......and to move on.

Brady served its purpose.

I will be forever grateful for that little town, the little school Jones went to, the little gym I got involved in and the time I got to spend to heal.

The last day at Jones' school they had a Valentine's Day party. It was a lot of fun and a lot of tears having to say goodbye.

We moved our stuff to Pearsall where Cody got another great job offer. Then headed to East Texas to spend time with family for a couple of months while our house gets built. We will officially be in Pearsall, April 1st.

A nice long break has been fabulous! We, Cody has been eating crawfish out the wazoo.....yuck.

It snowed!!!! I think just for me! I miss the snow dearly. Snow days in Woodward reminded us to slow down and cuddle.....lots and lots of cuddles....warm, relaxing, low key lazy days were the product of snow days in Woodward. So we got to relive that, if only for a day.

We are house hopping with the Grands, Jones is getting lots of spoilings in and Cody gets to feel out his new job for a bit before he gets thrown into the start of fawn season.

We are looking forward to the new ranch, new job and new house. Cody will be over the breeding part of the ranch and he is beyond thrilled!

I've been able to catch up with old friends while we have been in!
I haven't seen this girl in 11 years! It's nice having friends who you can catch up with after so many years and pick back up where you left off.!
