We had a midweek little break and set off towards San Antonio. If you were to ask me what my most favorite getaway would consist of? I would say, an awesome comfy hotel with a king bed, yummy food all day long and hiking some trails! Win, win AND win! It was a fabulous 24 hours.
It was raining and yucky when we got into SA. We checked into our hotel and ventured out for dinner. Cody wanted seafood, found a little joint, went back to the hotel for some R&R! Jones got the memo!
Our favorite thing to watch, when there isn't anything good to watch, is Diner, Drive ins and Dives. We saw this place in SA called Dough on the show, one time, that looked yummy. We decided to find it! It was a pizza place so we knew J wouldn't be disappointed. They let him make his own pizza! He was in the zone!
We made a pit stop at bass pro to exchange some stuff. We got Jones some snake boots. He loves them! They had a shooting range thing. It was fun!
It was still rainy and yucky so we decided to just head back home. By the time we got to Fredericksburg it was sunny and gorgeous! We decided to make a pit stop to Enchanted Rock. I've been wanting to go there for about 5 years!!!!!! The climb looked a little more treacherous, with a 4 year old, than it actually was. It was beautiful!
Jones took our pic almost to the top! Cody had on regular boots that didn't have rubber soles so him and Jones just sat down half way up while I ran up to the top.
